Native American legend tells of a Spanish shipwreck on Neahkahnie Mountain in the 1600's.  A group of men rowed to shore and carried a heavy chest up the mountain.  The Natives watched in curiosity as the men dug a hole and buried the treasure. Centuries passed and the treasure has never been found despite numerous attempts by treasure hunters.

This Experience was designed with kids in mind. Parents bring your "inner child" with you!  You will be expected to participate!  (If you are looking for an adult activity please view my Manzanita Scavenger Hunt!)

We will meet on the boardwalk of Manzanita beach. You and your group will be given a treasure map and instructions on how to find the treasure.   From there we will walk the beach (approx. 1 mile) to the base of Neahkahnie Mountain.  Along the way you will search for  landmarks, discover clues, and solve puzzles. Once all the clues are collected you will have everything you need to find the Neahkahnie treasure! This Experience was designed with kids in mind. Parents bring your "inner child" with you!  You will be expected to participate!  (If you are looking for an adult activity please view my Manzanita Scavenger Hunt!)

During the Fall and Winter months this Experience may be modified during inclement weather.
